SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique, May 9 -– Gubernatorial candidate Rhodora J. Cadiao voted at around 12 noon today without any special treatment nor fanfare. She also had to line up just like other voters.

Cadiao cast her vote in the remote Barangay Camancijan in the northern town of Culasi where she was born and raised by her father who was once also a governor of Antique province.

Cadiao, when she arrived at the polling precinct, saw many voters already lined up and she decided to join them, not minding the heat of the sun.

She remains hopeful for the positive turnout of the election especially with the solid support extended to her by her family, friends and supporters. Cadiao is accompanied by Camancijan Barangay Captain Danny Panganiban.

Meanwhile, Atty. Jessie Suarez of the Comelec-Antique said that the result of the election will be known fast depending on the election returns submission.

He said that no major hitches happened in the election process in Antique. (PNA)
