ANKARA, Jan. 3 — Three people, including two Syrians, died while under treatment due to suspected swine flu in southern Adana province of Turkey, private Dogan News Agency reported on Saturday.

Samples taken from three people are under examination, but it's still too early to say that they died of swine flu, Governor of Adana province Mustafa Buyuk was quoted as saying.

Last week, 45 people applied to hospitals with high fever, while six of them stayed at hospital with suspect of swine flu. Then Ministry of Health announced several swine flu cases in primary schools in the Turkish capital Ankara.

Swine flu caused the deaths of 30 people across Turkey in early 2015.

In 2009, H1N1 epidemic erupted in Mexico and spread into a worldwide pandemic. (PNA/Xinhua)
