Flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA, Nov 21 — Two flights to and from Caticlan in Aklan were cancelled Friday morning due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said in an advisory.

In an advisory, MIAA said that among the flights cancelled were 5J 907 (MNL-Caticlan) and 5J 894 (Caticlan-MNL) with a supposed standard time of departure/arrival at 05:54 am and 08:55 am.

Both flights belong to Cebu Pacific.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier predicted that Western and Central Visayas and nearby provinces will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

PAGASA said that meanwhile Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos region will be cloudy with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. (PNA)
