Air France-KLM passenger traffic up 2.1% in October

PARIS, Nov. 13 — Passenger traffic of Air France-KLM, Europe's leading airline, grew by 2.1 percent in October compared with the same month last year, the group said on Wednesday.

The Paris-based airline numbered 6.932 million passengers last month, up 2.1 percent from October in 2013, while the revenue passenger-km was up 2 percent compared with the same period last year, the group's monthly data showed.

The passenger load factor rose to 84.7 percent, according to the report.

However, cargo business of the Air France-KLM joint venture was down by 1.2 percent in revenue tonne-km with the cargo load factor dropping to 63.9 percent in October. (PNA/Xinhua)
