KIDAPAWAN CITY, Nov. 5 -– About 2,560 individuals from five barangays in North Cotabato availed of medical and dental services extended by the provincial health team Wednesday.

The medical dental services conducted by Integrated Provincial Health Office and its partners have benefited residents of Barangay Bangbang and Kibia in Matalam town, Barangay Muan in Kidapawan City, Barangay La Suerte, M’lang town and Barangay Popoyon, Tulunan town.

Among the services extended were free medical consultations, tooth extraction and circumcision.

The latest medical outreach program was part of the continuing medical services by the provincial government to far-flung communities where health services are not as massive as compared to other urban areas.

Dr. Eva Rabaya, IPHO North Cotabato head, said similar activities are already in the pipeline for the next weeks.

Along with government physicians in the outreach programs were medical-dental teams from three Army Battalions, rural health units, barangay health workers, and volunteers. (PNA)
