MANILA, Nov. 27 — Most parts of the country will continue to enjoy relatively good weather, the state weather bureau said on Wednesday.

In its advisory, PAGASA said that except for Northern and Central Luzon, the rest of the country including Metro Manila will remain to have sunny to partly cloudy skies with possible afternoon or evening rains because of the localized thunderstorms.

On the other hand, Northern Luzon including regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the effects of the tail-end of a cold front and northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan.”

It added that moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA also said strong to gale-force winds associated to northeast monsoon may affect the seaboards of northern Luzon.

"Fishing boats and other small seacraft are warned not to venture out to sea. Larger vessels should be alert for heavy seas", it said. (PNA)
