MANILA, May 17 — Justice Secretary Leila M. De Lima on Friday divulged former police Senior Supt. Cezar Mancao II is now busy securing a passport.

De Lima said that based on the intelligence report she received, a lawyer is in the process of securing a passport for Mancao and two other individuals.

However, De Lima did not disclose the identities of the lawyer and the two other persons.

De Lima added she has alerted the Bureau of Immigration about the possible departure from the country of Mancao.

Likewise, De Lima reiterated her warning against those who are harboring Mancao that they will be charged with "obstruction of justice."

Mancao escaped from the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) early this month on the same day he was about to be transferred to the Manila City Jail allegedly for fear of his life. (PNA)
