DAGUPAN CITY, May 3 –It's nine from Team PNoy and only three for the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) in Pangasinan in the senatorial race based on the result of a survey conducted by Quezon City-based Data Advisors, Inc., commissioned by an investor named David Sanchez.

The survey on voters preferences on senatorial candidates was conducted simultaneously when enumerators of the firm conducted the survey for provincial and congressional candidates in three cities and 44 towns of Pangasinan from April 19 to 25.

The firm has 14 years record of professional polling throughout the country, said Art Valenzuela, one of the senior officials of Data Advisors, Inc.

Dagupan was not included as a sample area because its people are not voting for provincial officials being an independent component city of Pangasinan.

There were 2,500 respondents drawn proportionately from all the sampled areas which considered the bigger number of voters in the area, the bigger number of respondents were assigned.

The results showed that Senator Loren Legarda of Team PNoy leads with 65.2 percent vote share, followed by teammate Alan Peter Cayetano at 58.7; with Nancy Binay of UNA in third spot at 58.7 percent.

Trailing in fourth place is Cynthia Villar, also of Team Pnoy at 58.2 percent, followed by Chiz Escudero, also of Team PNoy at 56.7 percent.

Two other Team PNoy bets Edgardo Angara at 54.5 percent and Grade Poe at 53.6 percent trailed closely.

In 8th and 9th places, respectively, are UNA candidates Juan "Jack" Ponce Enrile Jr. with 48.4 percent and JV Ejercito Estrada at 46.9 percent.

President Benigno Aquino III's first cousin Benigno Bam Aquino is in 10th place, followed by Koko Pimentel at 44.2 percent in 11th place with Antonio Trillanes IV in 12th place at 43.2 percent.
