VP Binay leads UNA proclamation rally in Bohol on Wednesday

MANILA, April 23 — Vice President Jejomar Binay on Wednesday will join the United Nationalist Alliance proclamation rally in Bohol, one of the provinces with the highest voter turnout.

Binay will lead the join local candidates of UNA in their proclamation rally at the Carmen Covered Court, Carmen, Bohol at around 9:00 a.m.

Bohol has more than 700,000 registered voters based on the Commission on Elections (Comelec) 2010 records. The province also bagged the fifth spot in the list of provinces with the highest voter turnout.

Out of 729,914 registered voters, 613,743 actually voted in the 2010 election.

Before coming to Bohol, the vice president, also the chairman of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board on Tuesday, is scheduled to confer awards to local government units (LGUs) in Zamboanga Peninsula that completed the Comprehensive Land Use Program Training at the Garden Orchid Hotel.

Binay is also set to join UNA senatorial candidates Jackie Enrile, JV Ejercito Estrada, Ernesto Maceda, Migz Zubiri, Gringo Honassan, Dick Gordon, Mitos Magsaysay, Tingting Cojuangco and Binay’s elder daughter Nancy for their proclamation rally in Zamboanga on Tuesday at the Lantaka Hotel by the Sea and Plaza Pershing.
