MANILA, Jan. 16, — Interior Secretary Mar Roxas Wednesday ordered Police Supt. Hansel Marantan to submit himself for investigation and put a stop to his alleged "drama" and be ready to tell what really transpired Jan 6 Atimonan encounter that left 13 dead.

This after Roxas learned that Marantan's refusal to make himself available to the fact-finding team formed by the Philippine National Police on the Atimonan gun battle.

The only policemen at the checkpoint who was hit by bullets shows photographs that he is being visited by Scene of the Crime (SOCO) operatives at the hospital to show that he is not refusing to cooperate in the investigation.

"In fact, mayroon kaming photographs to include the case number na they were welcomed here sa room ko. I even encouraged them na bigyan ng pansin 'yung slug na nakuha dito sa katawan ko. Baka sakaling makapagbigay linaw sa sinasabing shooutout," Marantan said in a separate interview in his bedside.(PNA)
