(Metro News) Mayor Lim leads gift-giving at Manila city hall

MANILA, Dec. 19 — Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim led the Unilever Christmas gift-giving to thousands of city employees comprising daycare workers, job order employees, street educators, barangay health workers and Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau traffic volunteers at the Manila City Hall Quadrangle Wednesday afternoon.

The donations were brought in by Unilever Philippines vice president for corporate affairs Chito Macapagal, and community development manager Sonny Vibandor.

Unilever Philippines is a staunch supporter of the city government in implementing projects and programs for Manila’s poor constituents

The other day, Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim together with Unilever chairman and chief operations officer Peter Cowan also distributed gift bags containing Unilever products for the traditional Christmas gift-giving for Manilans at the Uniliver compound in United Nations Avenue, Ermita, to 4,000 city residents.

Officers of Unilever Philippines thanked Mayor Lim for leading the Christmas gift distribution and for the city government’s full support in making the distribution successful. (PNA)
