Cebu Pacific cancels 6 flights due to bad weather

MANILA, Oct. 26 – Cebu Pacific Airlines cancelled six flights Friday due to bad weather brought by tropical storm Ofel that reportedly left six people dead and nine other missing.

According to the media advisory of the Manila International Airport Authority, the Cebu Pacific cancelled morning flight 5J 196 bound to Cauayan, Isabela and its return flight 5J 197.

CebuPac also cancelled flight 5J 504 which was supposed to leave Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 11:25 a.m. as well as the return flight 5J 505 which has standard time arrival of 1:55 p.m.

For the second straight day, Cebu Pacific cancelled its flight 5J 531 to Busuanga as well as the return flight 5J 532 with STA at 12:05nn.

Last Thursday at the height of storm Ofel, CebuPac also cancelled its flights to Busuanga along with 18 other flights bound for Caticlan, Pagadian, Ozamis, Naga and Legaspi due to bad weather.

A total 34 flights were cancelled last Thursday as AirPhilippines Express and Zest also suspended their respect flights. (PNA)
