ILOILO CITY, Oct. 16 -– Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog recently received the amount of P250,000 from Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. that will benefit indigent patients here.

“We thank Sen. Bong for his support to less fortunate Ilonggos, especially those who badly need financial assistance for their hospital and medical needs,” the mayor said.

The amount will form part of the assistance extended by the city government to indigent residents here needing healthcare.

The mayor said Revilla was impressed by the good governance promoted in Iloilo City most notably on the pro-poor programs being implemented by the city government.

“He believes in what we do here,” Mabilog stated. “That is why he is keen on helping the Ilonggos.” (PNA)
