MANILA, July 16 – Aspirants for the post of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (SC) only have until Tuesday to submit their respective "unconditional bank waivers" and other necessary documents to be included in the public interview which will start on July 24.

The Judicial and Bar Council said on Monday that such requirements are very important since these will be used as their basis in coming up with a shortlist of nominees which they will submit to President Benigno S. Aquino III.

JBC ex-officio member Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero said that the nominees should take seriously such requirements which will be considered as "confidential" and will not be released to the public. (PNA)
