LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, June 25 — At least 221 inmates of the Pangasinan Provincial Jail were treated during a free medical and dental mission of the provincial government through the Provincial Health Office (PHO).

Dr. Anna Theresa de Guzman, PHO chief, said the mission is a quarterly activity to provide all inmates with free medical check-up and medication, including dental service.

De Guzman said that the inmates were also provided medicines such as antipyretic/anti-inflammatory, anti-hypertensive, antibiotics and antacid medicines.

“We are regularly extending our assistance to the activity to ensure that all our under-privilege province-mates including our inmates are provided with the quality health care being offered by our government hospitals," he said.

The doctors, dentists, nurses and other health workers who assisted in the mission are from the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital (PPH), Lingayen District Hospital and PHO. (PNA) FFC/LVM/lmm/rma
