The victim, on board a tricycle near MMG Hospital, was robbed by the suspect who was later arrested by the authorities along Maharlika Highway in Lucena City.

Balba added that Quezon, with one Freddie Manabat and Alberto Dela Vega Jr., were previously involved in another robbery last week.

In Antipolo City, CIDG provincial operatives arrested the members of the Guevarra robbery group after they robbed one Lordie Mosquera of her IPOD worth P7,500 while inside her vehicle at the Marcos Avenue, of the city.

Balba said all suspects were identified by their victims.

He added CIDG’s drive against loose firearms has also resulted in the seizure of a homemade shotgun and a .38 revolver at a residence of Jonathan Isaac Diaz in Lucena City.

Another .38 pistol and several rounds of assorted ammunition were confiscated from the residence of Allan Dequilla of Silang Cavite.
