Sunny weather on Maundy Thursday -– PAGASA

MANILA, April 5 — The country will still experience a sunny and warm on Maundy Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Aldczar Aurelio, weather forecaster, said due to high pressure area which brings warm weather is extending to Northern Luzon.

The eastern part of the country may experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms loom.

In its 5:00 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said the whole country will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies except for isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Extreme Northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to east, with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA also said Metro Manila may experience temperatures between 24 and 34 degrees Celsius on Holy Thursday and as high as 35 degrees Celsius on Good Friday. (PNA)
