CAMP PANTALEON GARCIA, Imus, Cavite, April 4 – “No Lenten season breaks for Cavite police officers and men.”

A tall order indeed for the police in this province, but Senior Supt. John Bulalacao, Cavite police provincial director, had to issue the directive in support of the strict implementation of Oplan SumVac (Summer Vacation) he had earlier ordered, to ensure security and peace and order in Cavite during the vacation season.

Bulalacao said the enforcement of the yearly Oplan SumVac in Cavite started on Palm Sunday (April 1) and will last for two months.

He noted that thousands of people are expected to trek to the province during their Holy Week and long vacation, particularly in Tagaytay City, other tourists destinations, including upland areas.

The provincial police director created a team to oversee Oplan Sumvac with his next ranking officers as overall supervisors and other staff members as inspectors to protect visitors, tourists, vacationers and local residents. (PNA)
