5.5-magnitude quake hits Flores region, Indonesia — USGS

HONG KONG, Jan. 21 — An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted Flores region, Indonesia at 20:32:53 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 126.90 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 8.4151 degrees south latitude and 119.6973 degrees east longitude. (PNA/Xinhua)
