MANILA, Feb. 11 — In view of the ongoing congressional inquiries into the plea bargain deal entered into between the government and former Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) comptroller Carlos Garcia, a lawmaker on Friday filed a proposed measure, which seeks to amend Republic Act No. 7080, or the Anti-Punder Law, in order to make the provisions on plea bargaining "inapplicable" to cases involving violations of the said law.
