6.4-magnitude quake hits Vanuatu — USGS

NEW YORK, Jan. 10 — An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale jolted Vanuatu at 17:21:55 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 32.80 km, was initially determined to be at 19.2808 degrees south latitude and 168.1325 degrees east longitude. (PNA/Xinhua)
