MANILA, Sept. 18 — Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila De Lima said that the contents of the Incident Investigation and Review Committee (IIRC) report will be made public this coming Monday.

De Lima, who is also the chair of the said panel, said that the report was submitted to President Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III late afternoon last Friday.

President Aquino, in a later television interview, stated that he has already read and digested half of the IIRC report.

She added that the report is 83-pages long and said that 12 government officials will be charged for bungling the Aug. 23 Luneta Grandstand hostage stand-off which resulted in the killing of eight Hongkong nationals and suspect, former Senior Insp. Rolando Mendoza.

De Lima refused to cite additional specifics of the report, saying "I don't want to pre-empt the President." (PNA)
