(Metro News) More QC public school libraries get internet connection

MANILA, June 20 – More public elementary and secondary school libraries in Quezon City are now provided with internet connection, Quezon City officials said Sunday.

In a report submitted to Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr., the city’s schools division said 25 more public high school libraries had been converted to SB e-libraries to help public school students leap-frog to the electronic age.

To date, 58 QC school libraries have already been converted to smart builder electronic libraries.

New program beneficiaries were the Ismael Mathay Sr. High School in GSIS Village in Project 8; Batasan National High School in Batasan Hill, Novaliches, Manuel Roxas High School in Roxas District;

Jose P. Laurel High School in Project 4; North Fairview High School in Novaliches, San Jose High School and Sergio Osmeña High School in Del Monte;

Masambong High School in Del Monte; Pugad Lawin High School in Project 8; Holy Spirit National High School, Bagong Silangan High School, Tandang Sora National High School, Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma High School;

Maligaya High School, Doña Rosario High School, Sauyo High School, Balara High School, Carlos P. Garcia High School, Don Quintin Paredes High School, Krus na Ligas High School, Flora A. Ylagan High School.

Ponciano Bernardo High School, Judge Feliciano Belmonte High School, Dr. Josefa Jara Martinez High School and the National Orthopedic Hospital School–San Gabriel branch. (PNA)
