MANILA, June 15 — Papal Nuncio Edward Joseph Adams was one of the well-wishers who visited Tuesday President-elect Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III in his residence in Times Street, Quezon City.

The archbishop arrived shortly before 3 p.m. He did not talk to the media who were waiting outside.

Before he arrived, former Vice President Teofisto Guingona Jr. and his son, newly-elected Senator Teofisto "TG" Guingona III, also paid a visit to the newly-elected chief executive.

The younger Guingona said they just talked about the old times, "especially about the times of our fathers," referring to Aquino's father, slain Senator Benigno Aquino Jr.

The former vice president meanwhile said he congratulated Aquino for his victory.

Several VIPs have visited Aquino in his house even before he was proclaimed by Congress last week. (PNA) vcs/MPC/utb
