Preparations for opening of classes tackled at ‘Straight To the Point’ media forum

Guests at “Straight to the Point” weekly media forum held at Tinapayan Festival along Dapitan, Manila on Tuesday (June 8, 2010) discuss their agencies’ preparations for the opening of classes on June 15. The panelists are (from left) C/Supt. Roberto Rosales, regional director, NCRPO-PNP; Robert C. Nacianceno (holding microphone), general manager of Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA); Department of Education Undersecretary Franklin Sunga (second from right) and Atty. Julito Vitriolo, executive director of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Rosales said in case of floods, the NCRPO-PNP has 11 wooden boats and six rubber boats, while Nacianceno said MMDA has trucks, all ready to perry stranded students.
