MANILA, Nov. 15 –The free showing of the Pacquiao-Cotto fight in all designated sports complexes and covered courts in Manila was trouble free on Sunday.

A total of 20 Manila residents viewed the boxing via telecast and watched Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao demolished Miguel Cotto in several venues in the city of Manila.

The free showing went on smoothly as ticketholders heeded Mayor Alfredo Lim’s advise for them to stick to the venues stated in their tickets.

Lim's chief of staff Ric de Guzman said that some of the said venues were even able to accommodate those who had no tickets.

As per instruction of the mayor, priority was given to those whose ticket venue corresponds to the place where they sought admission. Once all were in, those whose stated ticket venue is different from the actual site they were seeking admission were accommodated, before allowing those without tickets to enter.

Security marshalls were also deployed in the said venues to provide peace and order, although no chaos was reported.

Manilenos were were given tickets and got to watch the Pacquiao-Cotto fight free of charge and live via telecast on big screens in six designated venues, one in each district of Manila, namely Tondo Sports Complex (District 1), Patricia Sports Complex (District 2), Rasac covered court (District 3), Dapitan Sports Complex (District 4), San Andres Sports Complex (District 5) and the Teresa covered court (District 6).
