Garin leads the vaccination of Grade 1 and Grade 7 pupils at the Camarines Sur National High School in Naga City on Monday (Aug. 3, 2015) to mark the launching of the nationwide school-based immunization program to protect the future generation of the country from vaccine-preventable illnesses. The immunization program is implemented in partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth), Local Government Unit LGUs), and civil society and religious organizations.
