MANILA, Oct. 9 (PNA) — Oct. 10, 1977 was a day of infamy for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

It was when 35 unarmed officers and men, including Brig. Gen. Teodulfo Bautista, commanding general of the famed Ist Infantry “Tabak” Division of the Philippine Army, were massacred after they were tricked by Usman Sali, rebel leader of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), for a “peace dialogue” in Patikul, Sulu, 37 years ago.
