MANILA, May 10 — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported that 95.15 percent of all the election returns (ERs) has been transmitted to its three servers.

Comelec Chairman Juan Andres Bautista noted that before 12 noon of May 10, they have transmitted 95.15 percent of the ERs to the Comelec Central Server, the Transparency Server, and the Mirror Server.

“Some 95.15 percent of the ERs have already been transmitted to the three servers… so this is just 17 hours after the polls closed,” he said, adding that, “This is, again, a new record.”

Bautista added that as of 11 a.m., a total of 80 percent transmission rate was recorded in majority of the regions.

Among the regions with the highest rate is Metro Manila at 98 percent while the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) as at a measly 60 percent.

“We are still awaiting the election returns of the other jurisdictions, including that of the overseas absentee voting (OAV),” the poll body official added.

The Transparency Server is the one being used by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) to come out with unofficial results while the Mirror Server is the one designated to the Kapisanan ng mga Broadcaster ng Pilipinas (KBP).

Comelec said the vote transmission rate was at 90 percent in 2010, but it went down to only 76 percent in the 2013 midterm polls. (PNA)
