MANILA, Oct. 6 — Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) said that it has resumed its twice daily flights to and from Tagbilaran in Bohol after one of its aircrafts experienced engine trouble over the weekend.

PAL has resumed its twice daily flights to and from Tagbilaran (TAG) effective yesterday (Monday) October 05, 2015,” the airline company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The airline company also noted that PAL Express operated flights 2P 2777 and 2P 2774 (morning) and 2P 2777 and 2P 2778 (afternoon) have already resumed operations.

It further said that all efforts are being exerted to ensure the immediate return to service of the A320 aircraft which is at the ramp parking bay of the airport.

To recall, a number of flights were delayed and cancelled at the Tagbilaran Airport due to limited runway space from a disabled PAL aircraft.

Flights delayed and cancelled were mostly from low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) issued a notice that only smaller aircraft will be allowed at the airport until October 5, 12 noon. (PNA)
