12 more wanted persons bagged by Bicol police in 2 days

LEGAZPI CITY, Sept. 19 — Members of the Philippine National Police Bicol's various units arrested 12 more wanted persons in a span of two days, the regional office said Saturday.

Quoting reports submitted by different police offices in the region reaching the regional office at Camp Gen. Simeon A. Ola here as of Friday, the office said those arrested on Thursday were Justine D. Esperida, Cristino A. Ibarrientos, Julian L. Alvarado, Ginalyn Alvarado-Romeo, Jerome D. Balatucan, Randolf M. Repaso, Leopoldo R. Refugio Jr., Noe C. Lopez and Doodie R. Gonzaga.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Bicol police netted Jemboy P. Lemotas, Rico O. Camba and Jonal F. Lopez for various offenses.

Esperida was collared at Barangay San Juan, Casiguran, Sorsogon by a police team led by PO3 Ronnie Lareza by virtue of a warrant of arrest (WOA) for acts of lasciviousness in relation to Sec. 5 of RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case (CC) No. 2015-9325 issued by Flerida P. Zaballa-Banzuela, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 51, Sorsogon dated April 7, 2015 with Php80,000 bail recommended.

Police officers of the Ragay Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested Ibarrientos at Barangay Tamban, Tinambac, Camarines Sur with a WOA under CC No. L-3480 for qualified theft issued by Cecilia R. Borja-Soler, presiding judge of RTC Br. 29, Libmanan, Camarines Sur dated June 6, 2002 with Php40,000 bail recommended.

Alvarado, 82, widower, and Alvarado-Romeo were apprehended by Uson MPS by virtue of a WOA issued by Fred A Bien, presiding judge of 5th MCTC, Dimasalang, Masbate under CC No 3467-U for estafa, with Php24,000 bail recommended for each.

Joint elements of Aroroy MPS and Criminal Investigation and Detection Team-Masbate arrested Balatucan at Barangay Syndicate, Aroroy, Masbate on order of Judge Jose C. Fortuno of RTC Branch 48, Masbate City under CC No. 17089 on March 10, 2015 for slight physical injury in relation to RA 7610 with Php80,000 bail recommended.

Repaso was cornered at his residence in Barangay San Vicente, Iriga City, for violation of City Ordinance under CC No. 53494 issued by Lorna O. Reyes, presiding judge of MTCC Branch 1, Iriga City.

Refugion got collared at Barangay Tongo Bantigue, Siruma, Camarines Sur by officers of Siruma MPS on order for recommitment from Department of Justice Board of Pardon and Parole signed by Executive Director Reynaldo G. Bayang.

Also arrested on Thursday night at Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur by Pili MPS was Lopez for the crime of child abuse with Php80,000 bail recommended.

Still on Thursday, Masbate City PS arrested Gonzaga at Barangay Kalipay, Masbate City by virtue of WOA issued by Manuel L Sese, presiding judge of RTC Br 45, Masbate City under CC No 17433 for frustrated homicide with Php24,000 bail recommended.

Lemotas and Camba were caught in Barangay Ilawod and Barangay Parian, both in Camalig, Albay, respectively, by virtue of WOA issued by Judge Victoria C. Dino-Reyes of MTC, Basud, Camarines Norte for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property (two Counts).

Ligao CPS personnel arrested Lopez by virtue of WOA issued by Judge Ignacio C. Barcillano Jr. of RTC, Branch 13, Ligao City with recommended bail fixed at Php200, 000.00; and violation of Sec. 12 of RA 9165 docketed under CC No. 7584 with recommended bail fixed at Php40,000.(PNA)
