MANILA, May 11 — A temporary runway closure at Legazpi International Airport prompted the cancellation of two flights to and from Albay on Monday.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the temporary runway closure began Monday from 11:29 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. due to a disabled aircraft on the runway.

The cancelled flights were Cebu Pacific flights 5J 327 (Manila-Legazpi) and 5J 328 (Legazpi-Manila).

Cebu Pacific, meanwhile, urged affected passengers of the cancelled flights to either rebook their flights for travel within 30 days from original departure date or opt for full refund.

Passengers may visit Cebu Pacific ticket offices or call the Cebu Pacific reservation hotlines +(632)702-0888 or +(6332)230-8888 to specify their preferred option. (PNA)
