PHNOM PENH, March 11 — The Hong Kong-based Plaza Premium Lounge Management Ltd. has been appointed to design and operate the airports lounges at the newly-built extensions of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap international airports' passenger terminals, according to a media release from the Cambodia Airports on Wednesday.

"The company will also introduce innovative services to travelers looking for airport value-added arrangements including meet and greet service and spa and shower facilities," the release said.

The services are expected to start by mid-2015 at Phnom Penh International Airport and by the end of this year at Siem Reap.

"Our lounges, spanning over 2,200 square meters in the two airports combined, are a promise of comfort, convenience and value," said Song Hoi-see, chief executive officer of Premium Lounge Management Ltd.

"This latest development testifies to our commitment in making the global travel experience an enjoyable one."

Patrine Tay, marketing and sales director of Cambodia Airports, said Plaza Premium Lounge Management Ltd., which has expertise in lounge management globally, would develop the best-in-class lounges at the two airports.

To cope with the steady increase of passengers, Cambodia Airports launched in January last year a USD100-million upgrading program to expand the terminals at the two airports to double its capacity to five million passengers each, the media release said. (PNA/Xinhua)
