ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, March 9 (PNA) — The Tree Top Adventure Theme Park now operating in Subic and Baguio has plans to expand in the South Luzon area, eyeing Tagaytay City in Cavite as the ideal place.

In an interview with Ma. Camille Montejo, chief executive officer of Tree Top Adventure over the weekend at the Café Lupe Restaurant and Hostel in this city, she disclosed the expansion plan of the company in South Luzon.

“We are actually looking for South area because we have already in North, we are open in any agreement and it depends on the concord since we are family business,” Montejo said.

Tree Top Adventure has the first motorized zipline in Asia, and with a Filipino design. “We promote Filipino products and engineering,” Montejo said.

Montejo explained that motorized zipline can be found in Subic and Baguio. The Treetop Adventure or Canopy Ride hovers 100 feet above the ground, with adventure trail suspended on the rainforest’s highest branches, crossing four suspension bridges and taking five motorized cable rides of up to 220 meters long.

The Ultimate Adventure – Superman Ride, soars from tree to tree while securely suspended face down and feet up. This thrilling trail covers two platforms of up to 140 meters long and 100 meters high.

Likewise, the Tree Drop Adventure – Rappelling, flirts with gravity by rappelling down the side of a 60-foot tree with a variety of styles – the conventional, the lizard, the daring Australian style (face first).

Tree Top also promotes the first motorized team building activity which includes two high element activities (Tree Drop and Silver Surfer) that would challenge each member to work with their team.

“We want to provide a venue where one can enjoy nature so that one can have a deeper appreciation and care for nature and our priority is safety,” Montejo added. (PNA)
