LME base metals close mixed on Wednesday

LONDON, March 5 — The base metal prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed mixed on Wednesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped US$ 17, or 0.29 percent, to US$ 5,808 per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost US$ 5, or 0.28 percent, to US$ 1,791 a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price increased US$ 11, or 0.63 percent, to US$ 1,756 a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost US$ 11, or 0.54 percent, to US$ 2,026 a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased US$ 150, or 1.09 percent, to US$ 13,862.5 a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased US$ 125, or 0.70 percent, to US$ 17,875 a tonne. (PNA/Xinhua)
