Donetsk republic registers 25 violations of ceasefire since Tuesday afternoon

MOSCOW, March 5 — Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic has registered 25 violations of the ceasefire regime, including four instances of artillery shelling since Tuesday afternoon Eduard Basurin, the ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.

"We report all the data daily to the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC)," he said. "The vast majority of the cases of shelling occur near Donetsk airport where we’re a holding a humanitarian cooperation to clear the terrain of mines and to recover the bodies of dead Ukrainian servicemen."

DPR armed units are engaged actively in the efforts to restore the infrastructure of two large railway junctions, Donetsk and Debaltsevo, Basurin said.

"As much as 20 km of railway tracks has been restored since Tuesday afternoon and repairs of three load boards for coal and liquid fuel have been completed," he said.

"Also, the past 24-four or so hours have seen the rehabilitation of more than 30 of gas distribution and water supply lines," Basurin said. "Ten transformer substations and two boiler houses have been brought back into operation."(PNA/TASS)
