Flights cancelled due to bad weather, aircraft situation

MANILA, March 2 — Several flights were cancelled Monday due to bad weather and aircraft situations, the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) said in an advisory.

According to DOTC via Twitter, among flights cancelled due to bad weather include 2P-2079 (Manila-Catarman), and 2P-2080 (Catarman-Manila).

Both flights belong to PAL Express.

State-run weather bureau PAGASA earlier forecasted Visayas (where Catarman is located), eastern Mindanao and Southern Luzon to experience moderate to strong winds coming from the northeast.

PAGASA meanwhile noted that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, four flights were cancelled due to aircraft situation namely DG-7002 (Manila-Cebu), DG-7003 (Cebu-Manila), DG-7054 (Manila-Kalibo), and DG-7055 (Kalibo-Manila).
