Two-day open dart tournament set in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Feb. 24 — Dart enthusiasts from all over the region will square it out in the forthcoming two-day Open Dart Tournament in this city.

The tournament, dubbed as the 78th “Dia de la Ciudad de Zamboanga” and 18th Celso Lobregat Open Dart Tournament, is scheduled from February 27 to 28 at Ram’s Beer Garden and Restaurant along Gov. Camins Avenue, this city.

The tournament forms part of the 78th Charter Day Anniversary celebration dubbed as the “Dia de la Ciudad de Zamboanga.”

This city is celebrating its 78th Charter Day Anniversary on Thursday, February 26, that marks the days when the first local government officials were installed into office in 1935.

Tournament organizer Ram Ramchand said there will be two game categories namely the Open Single and Open Doubles.

Trophies and cash prizes await the winners. The registration fee is Php150 per participant.

For Open Single, the prizes are as follows: champion, Php3,200 plus trophy; 1st runner up, Php2,400 plus trophy; 2nd runner up, Php1,600 plus trophy; and, 3rd runner up, Php800 plus trophy.

For the Open Doubles, the prizes are: champion, Php4,800 plus trophy; 1st runner up, Php3,600 plus trophy; 2nd runner up, Php2,400 plus trophy; and 3rd runner up, Php1,3200 plus trophy.
