MANILA, Feb. 4 — Six domestic flights were cancelled on Wednesday afternoon due to bad weather and marketing requirements, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said in an advisory.

MIAA said that among flights cancelled due to bad weather were two Cebu Pacific flights namely: 5J-196 (Manila-Cauayan), and 5J-197 (Cauayan-Manila).

PAGASA earlier forecast that the regions of Cagayan Valley (where Cauayan, Isabela is located), Cordillera, Bicol, Eastern Visayas and Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains.

The State weather bureau also said that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains while the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, four other flights from PAL Express were also cancelled due to marketing requirements namely: 2P-2051 (Manila-Caticlan), 2P-2052 (Caticlan-Manila), 2P-2049 (Manila-Caticlan), and 2P-2050 (Caticlan-Manila).

However, MIAA did not specify what marketing requirements caused the flights to be cancelled. (PNA)
