Urgent: M6.3 quake hits Argentina — USGS

BEIJING, Feb. 2 — A 6.3-magnitude earthquake jolted 87km northwest of La Punta, Argentina, at 10:49 GMT Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 172.29 km, was initially determined to be at 32.7149 degrees south latitude and 67.0615 degrees west longitude. (PNA/Xinhua)
