St. Luke’s launches its 1st Mobile Application

MANILA, Jan 27 (PNA) — St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) on Tuesday launched its first mobile application so-called St. Luke’s MedConnect, to give the public easier access to world-class hospital’s health care services.

Dr. Jose B. Moran, head of Medical Practice Group and Medical Director of St. Luke’s- Quezon City, who attended the launching held at SLMC Main Hospital Lobby in Quezon City, said St.Luke’s MedConnect is the first and fully functional application for the healthcare industry and will surely bring the hospital world-class services closer to the public anytime, anywhere.

The passion to continuously improve, redefine and evolve excellence in medical and patient services have been the cornerstones of SLMC’s mission to deliver state-of-the-art healthcare. This is also guided by key drivers: good clinical outcomes, patient safety, education, training and research, great patient experience and financial viability.

Named St.. Luke’s MedConnect is an easy-to-use mobile application that gives the public easier access to the world-class hospital's wide array of healthcare services through features that can request for a doctor's appointment, access one's laboratory results, reserve a room, pay online, schedule executive checkups, and read about essential information.

To download the St. Luke’s MedConnect App, potential users should go to the Apple Appstore or Google play and type in St. Luke’s Medical Center. The app is available on iOs 5.0 up to the latest version (for android, version 2 up to the latest).
