US-based Filipino physicians to conduct medical, dental and surgical mission in Laguna

SANTA CRUZ, Laguna, Jan. 24 — Members of the Philippine Medical Association in Chicago, U.S.A. (PMAC) will conduct a three-day medical, dental and surgical mission in various places of Laguna province from January 27-29.

The Provincial Information Office (PIO) said medical and dental missions will be conducted in the 2nd district of Laguna starting on January 27 at Barangay Pansol, Calamba City. On January 28, the medical and dental team will be at the Municipal Hall of Bay and on January 29 at the covered court in the old municipal building of Los Baṅos.

The surgical operations will be conducted at the Jose P. Rizal Memorial District Hospital in Barangay Bucal, Calamba City on January 27, 28 and 29 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Cris Sanji,Provincial Information Officer, said that interested individuals may contact the management of Jose P. Rizal Memorial District Hospital at (049) 545 0082.

Sanji said the provincial government fully supports the noble mission of PMAC in Laguna where Effective Health Management is one of the top priorities of Governor Ramil Hernandez specially for the less fortunate individuals.(PNA)
