LONDON, Jan. 4 — Phil Taylor will fight for the title of the PDC World Darts Championship against fourth seed Gary Anderson at north London's Alexandra Palace on Sunday.

The 54-year-old 16-time champion breezed past former winner Raymond van Barneveld 6-2 while Scot Anderson dethroned last year's champion and top seed Van Gerwen of the Netherlands 6-3 to reach his second world final.

"The more pressure I put on him the more he missed," the 44-year-old Anderson said.

Taylor went ahead 2-0 but Dutchman Van Barneveld, seeded 14th, managed to make it 2-2.

But second-seeded Taylor gave no chance to his rival to reach his 20th final.

"It was a bit of walk in the first two sets and then he came back and it was nip and tuck. I thought to myself, 'You're in the semifinal, come on' and I pushed on a bit," Taylor said. (PNA/Xinhua)
