(Sports)Bangladesh unveils cricket World Cup squad

DHAKA, Jan. 4 — Bangladesh has named a 15-strong squad for the Cricket World Cup 2015, which is to be hosted in Australia and New Zealand.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan told a press briefing on Sunday that Mashrafe Mortaza will lead the Tigers (Bangladesh team) for the biggest extravaganza of the world cricket starting next month.

Bangladesh World Cup squad includes Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, Mominul Haque, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Nasir Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Mashrafe Mortaza (capt.) , Taskin Ahmed, Al-Amin Hossain, Rubel Hossain, Arafat Sunny and Taijul Islam. (PNA/Xinhua)
