French stock market up 0.32% on Tuesday

PARIS, Nov. 26 — The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.32 percent to close at 4,382. 31 points on Tuesday, up 13.87 points.

Investors are happy about the revised third quarter GDP growth of 3.9 percent of the United States, instead of the 3.5 percent initially announced. The CAC closed with 26 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The top three gainers of today were Michelin, up 2.61 percent, Credit Agricole, up 2.49 percent, and BNP Paribas, up 1.97 percent.

The three companies that lost most Tuesday were Alstom, down 1. 98 percent, Total, down 1.58 percent, and ArcelorMittal, down 1.27 percent.

In previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.49 percent, or 21.21 points, to close at 4,368.44 points. (PNA/Xinhua)
