NOPPO gives recognition to 7 outstanding police stations in Negros Occidental

BACOLOD CITY, Nov. 12 -– Seven city and municipal police stations in Negros Occidental were recognized for their accomplishments in law enforcement operations for the month of October.

Senior Supt. Milko Lirazan, director of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office l, led the distribution of certificates of merit to police chiefs of seven outstanding police units in rites held Monday at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. here.

Victorias City Police Station headed by Supt. Santiago Rapiz received three awards for topping the campaign against prohibited drugs, illegal gambling, and implementation of the Police Integrated Patrol System.

Manapla Municipal Police Station under Senior Insp. Edencio Gregorio is also a top performer in the implementation of PIPS while the Sagay City Police Station led by Supt. Edel Jose Manzano topped the campaign against recovery of loose firearms.

Bago City Police Station headed by Supt. Arnel Arpon was awarded for its outstanding campaign against wanted persons while the Talisay City Police Station under Chief Insp. Joresty Coronica took the number one spot in the campaign against illegal fishing.

The La Castellana Municipal Police Station and La Carlota City Police Station also topped the campaign against illegal gambling and illegal logging, respectively.(PNA)
