MANILA, Nov. 9 (PNA) — Processing of registration applications of a corporation or partnership in Quezon City with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is made more convenient with the launch of its first satellite office at Araneta Center's Ali Mall Government Center, Cubao, Quezon City.

SEC Commission Secretary Gerard Lukban said the satellite office will be launched on Tuesday in line with the ease of doing business reforms.

“(This) is the first here in Metro Manila that will primarily cater to the SEC clients located in the Quezon City area, providing them an alternative and convenient location to incorporate their businesses and do their filing of reports,” he said.

Lukban said the satellite office which shall operate from Mondays to Fridays will provide services including name verification, pre-processing of registration applications, pre-processing of applications for amendments of articles of incorporation/by-laws and articles of partnership, monitoring and receiving of reportorial requirements.

“The Commission will be establishing other satellite offices around Metro Manila and is currently in talks with mall operators to serve the public also in the southern part of Metro Manila,” he added. (PNA)
