3 West Visayans top MedTech Board

ILOILO CITY, Sept. 18 — Three medical technologists from the region of Western Visayas lorded it over in the September 2014 Medical Technologists Licensure examination bygrabbing the 1st, 3rd, and 9th places, the Professional Regulations Commission announced.

Patrick Joseph Mabugat from the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos in Bacolod City topped the list of 2,986 passers coming from the different regional centersin the country with a rating of 90.90 percent.

Coming in 3rd is Jenessa Agustin Buenafe from the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City having earned a rating of 90.40 percent. At 9th place is Alicia Rose Torredentico of Central Philippine University in Jaro, Iloilo City who received a mark of 89.20 percent.

A total of 3,615 took the Med Tech Board Exam, but only 2,986 successfully made it or an 83 percent passing performance. (PNA)
