Magnitude 2.6 quake jolts Bohol

MANILA, July 2 — A magnitude 2.6 earthquake struck Bohol province on Wednesday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

In its bulletin, the agency said the epicenter of thetremor, which happened at 9:23 a.m., was estimated one kilometer northwest of Getafe town in Bohol. It had a depth of 28 kilometers.

Phivolcs said the quake, which was tectonic in origin, was felt at Intensity 1 in Busay, Cebu City.

The agency said there was no casualty or damage reported from the quake. (PNA)
