MANILA, Mar. 1 — Most parts of the country including Metro Manila will continue to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with passing light rains because of the effects of the cold northeast monsoon, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday.

In its advisory, PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains while Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range 20-31 degrees Celsius for Saturday while in Baguio City will be 13-24 degrees Celsius.

It added that moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA expects “zero to one storm” to enter the country for the month of March. (PNA)
